Rules and Terms
If you want to submit to the festival, please be aware of the following rules
-All films submitted must be in English or have English subtitles. If there are words in another language, those must have subtitles.
-Films must have been completed after June of 2022.
-All films must be under 40 minutes.
-If you are a student, you need to show proof you are a student if selected. If you are a filmmaker who went to school in New York State or grew up in New York State, you'll need to show proof if selected.
-Entry fees are non-refundable
-Does not have to be a premiere to screen at NYCSFF
-No excessive praise for a religion or tone films/music videos
-films made with the assistance of ai in any capacity will not be considered

Fall Finals: December 13th 2024 -$15
Start of Spring Semester: January 21st 2025 -$20
Spring Midterms: March 3rd 2025 -$25
Spring Break (FINAL): March 23rd 2025 - $30
Notification Date: April 15th 2025
