At NYCSFF, we are interested in showcasing the best in student talent. We know how hard it is it can be trying to break into the film industry and we want to give you a leg up. At NYCSFF not only will you be able to screen your work, you'll be able to answer questions about your films, network with other filmmakers, and possibly win awards.

Hi! I'm Max, the Festival Director. I am a film student at The City College of New York. I'm a writer/director who focuses on the stories of young people and the digital age we're living in. I love baseball, politics, and obviously, movies.
Claire O'Neill
Director of Programming
Hi, I’m Claire O’Neill! and I attend Northeastern University in Boston as a joint Media Screen Studies and English major. I like branching out into new creative styles and mediums when I get the opportunity to, but for the most part stick to writing sci-fi/fantasy stories and screenplays centered around interpersonal relationships. I also enjoy drawing and watching kaiju films.
